Five Questions from Friday Forum

1] How is your year 2006 starting off? Good? Bad? What do you think
this year will be like [any predictions?]?

The year started off as quite bad for me mainly because I was feeling sad that Christmas is over. The past Christmas is the worst Christmas I ever had and I can't pinpoint any reasons why. But it's also a good new year as I have transferred to a different department, which means I have a new job and a new work schedule!

2] Did you make any New Year's resolutions? Why/why not? If so, have
you managed to make good progress on them so far?

I did not make any new year's resolutions. At least not any conscious ones. Before I always say that I'll lose weight. But this year, I'll just continue going to the gym (which is what I've been doing since December) and just hope for the best that something positive will come out of it! Hahaha...

3] What's on your January calendar? Any special events or dates to
remember?

I'm going to Baguio tomorrow with some of my college friends. Actually I have a lot of events for tomorrow such as a reunion with some high school friends, the birthday parties of org-mates, and a Tagaytay trip with my foreign boss. But the Baguio trip came first and I haven't been there in a while so I'm going with that plan!

4] Are you sad that the holidays are over, or are you glad to be
getting everything back to normal? Do you still have your holiday
decorations up?

I'm sad that the holidays are over because I never really got into the holiday spirit. It's like the holidays never happened for me so I'm wishing that it's still Christmastime at the moment. But unfortunately, it's the middle of January already and all decorations are gone so I guess I'll just wait for December 2006.

5] What were you doing last year at this time?

Last year, I was still working for Convergys. But I think I was not yet handling calls during this time. I think I'm still in product specific training and therefore I was going to Makati everyday at around 9 in the evening.
